The Cask of Amontillado Full Book (sometimes spelled “The Cask of Amontillado”) is a short story by American author Edgar Allan Poe, first published in Godey’s Lady’s Book in November 1846. This story, set in an unnamed Italian town at the time of Carnival, the story is about a man who takes deadly revenge on his friend, whom he believes has insulted him.
